Cyclist killed in A483 crash in Mid Wales

A 67-year-old cyclist has died after a crash involving another two cars in Llandrindod Wells.

The crash happened on the A483, Temple Street, at approximately 7.40pm on April 13 and involved a Peugeot 307, a Ford Fiesta and a cyclist .

John Edward Owen, aged 67, from Llandrindod Wells, died as a result.

The next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed.

Police are appealing for witnesses to this collision and would particularly like to speak to the two passengers who were in the Peugeot 307 at the time of the incident but left the scene before police arrived.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is urged to contact Ceredigion Roads Policing Unit on 101 immediately.
