Man taken to hospital after large house fire in Welshpool
A man has been taken to hospital after a blaze broke out at a house in Welshpool.

The fire started in the bedroom of the semi-detached house in Oldford View.
Firefighters arrived at 8.15pm to find flames shooting several feet into the sky.
The man had managed to get out of the property before emergency service arrived but was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
Five fire crews from Mid and West Wales Fire Service were assisted by a crew from Shrewsbury.
They managed to get the blaze under control by 11.07pm.
