Woman and children escape injury as car overturns in Shropshire crash

A woman and two children escaped serious injury today when their car overturned.

A stretch of road between Cockshutt and Stanwardine In Wood was closed after the accident just before 9am.

Jamie Arrowsmith, a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to Wycherley Hall Junction on the A528 at about 8.43am to reports that a car that overturned or rolled.

"There were three patients, a woman and two children who all avoided serious injuries and were discharged at the scene."

Police advised motorists to avoid the area while they dealt with the incident.
