Man cut free from car after Shropshire A49 crash

A man had to be freed from a car by firefighters after it was involved in a collision in Shropshire this morning.

Emergency services were called to the incident on the A49 at Little Stretton at about 9.18am.

Fire crews used cutting equipment to free the man, who was then taken to hospital.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident with drivers urged to find alternative routes.
