Thieves steal mobile phone while patient was asleep in Telford's A&E

A mobile phone has been stolen from Telford's hospital - while its owner was sleeping in A&E.

The HTC 530 Desire black and gold special edition is believed to have been taken between 3am and 6am on November 6 whilst its owner was asleep in a cubical in the A&E department at Princess Royal Hospital in Apley.

The theft was reported to West Mercia Police at 7.30am the same day.

West Mercia would like to speak to anyone who may have information or may have seen the theft.

Anyone who may know something should call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 162S of November 6.
