Woman taken to hospital after Telford crash causes rush hour delays

A woman was taken to hospital following a three-car collision on a busy Telford road, causing rush-hour delays this morning.

The accident happened on the A442 Queensway, near Randlay Interchange, at about 7.40am and caused queues from Stirchley Interchange.

A 43-year-old woman, who was the driver of one of the vehicles involved, was taken to Princess Royal Hospital after complaining of back pain.

Nobody else is believed to have been seriously injured.

The collision blocked one lane of the carriageway and caused delays of more than 10 minutes.
