Cyclist treated for injuries after falling from his bike in Oswestry

A 31-year-old man was treated by paramedics for injuries after appearing to have fallen from his push bike outside an Oswestry funeral parlour today.

The West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at the roadside near David Davies & Sons Funeral Directors at Upper Church Street, at 1.13pm.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "It appears that the man fell off his push bike and has a leg injury."
Witnesses said the man had initially looked as though he had lost consciousness and was not moving.
