Motorcyclist killed in A5 crash near Oswestry named

A motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on the A5 near Oswestry has been named as Scott Roberts from Walsall.

The inquest into the 32-year-old's death will take place on Monday.

The busy stretch of road was closed in both directions between the B5009 and the A5 all Monday morning after the crash which happened shortly after 7am.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 71S of September 26.
