Youths searched in Shrewsbury after drugs reports
A group of young people were searched by police in Shrewsbury amid claims they had been dealing drugs.

West Mercia Police's safer neighbourhood team for Shrewsbury Central received a report that people using the Upton Lane BMX track in Monkmoor were possibly drug dealing.
Officers said that because of ongoing anti-social behaviour issues in the area, police attended the track and stood at three entrances to the site.
A statement from the SNT said: "A number of youths who were described by the caller were stop/searched by officers. No drugs were found. It's hoped that SNT police and PCSOs will carry out more high visibility presence around the area to deter groups returning to the location."
