A fire crew was sent out from Wellington Station but was stood down until Western Power could isolate the power.

The tractor caught fire just after 2.30pm at Aston Hall Farm, in Aston Lane.

A spokesman for Western Power said that initially 459 customers were left with no power, then within five minutes it was 295.

The spokesman said: "The fire tripped our overhead circuit.

"An engineer is currently on site to isolate the power, so about 24 customers in the vicinity will then be affected for a longer duration of time."
