Gas cylinder fear in shed fire near Oswestry

Firefighters were alerted to a shed fire involving a propane cylinder near Oswestry.

The fire involved a domestic shed and hedge and one propane cylinder.

Crews used a ground monitor and hosereel jet to cool the cylinder.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting a fire in Weston Rhyn at 7.07pm last night.

Two fire appliances were sent from Oswestry, and a fire investigation officer was in attendance.

The scene was cleared by 8.41pm.
