Fire crews battle Shrewsbury house blaze

Firefighters were called to tackle a fire at a house in Shropshire on Friday.

Two fire engines from Shrewsbury and an operations officer was sent to the house in Hafren Close, Shrewsbury at around 10.30pm.

On arrival crews found a fire in the ground floor living room of a semi-detached property.

They used a covering jet, hosereel jet and positive pressure ventilation to tackle the fire and ventilate the house.

They left at about 11.30pm.
