Oswestry police investigate spate of car break-ins

Police in Oswestry are investigating a serious of thefts of items from vehicles around the town.

Between 7am and 9.30am on December 6, a dashboard camera was stolen from a Scania truck in New Street, as the driver was making a delivery in the area.

Three days later on December 9, at around 2.30am a dash cam and loose cash was taken from a car in the Osborne Close area.

A further theft was reported to police, with a sat nav, a torch and keys taken from a vehicle in Middleton Road overnight between 6pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday.

Then loose change was taken from an unlocked car on a driveway in Bryn Glas in Oswestry between 1am and 10am on Monday.

Anyone who has any information is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101.
