Safe stolen from Shrewsbury charity shop

A safe containing about £100 has been stolen from a charity shop in Shrewsbury.

West Mercia Police said the Rural Charity shop in Whitchurch Road was burgled on Tuesday.

The toilet window at the back of the building was forced open and a small safe was removed.

A wooden shed at the back of the shop was also entered but no items were reported stolen.
