Oswestry man wanted on recall to prison

Police are looking to trace an Oswestry man who is wanted on recall to prison.

Michael Lee Bethell is believed to have connections in the Oswestry area.

West Mercia Police are sharing Merseyside's Police appeal for the public's help in helping to track down 25-year-old Bethell from Liverpool who is wanted by officers on recall to prison.

Bethell, whose last known address was in the Kirkdale area of Liverpool, was released on licence on February 21, after serving a total of 99 days for a breach of a gang injunction, possession of Class B drugs, criminal damage and receiving stolen goods.

He is wanted by officers after failing to comply with his licence release conditions and was recalled to prison on February 24.

Extensive efforts have been made by the police to find him but he remains outstanding and officers are requesting the public's help to find him.

Bethell is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of medium build with short blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who has seen Bethell, or who knows of his whereabouts, is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101, or anyone with any information can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
