The alleged rape happened at a home in Leegomery on May 8, but was only reported to police on May 25.

Police have urged people who may have information to come forward.

One of the men has been described as white, around 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build, with short dark hair and freckles.

He is thought to speak with a Polish accent and has a tattoo on his left forearm of what has been described as lines in a dark blue colour.

He is also thought to have a tear drop tattoo on his left little finger.

The second man is also thought to speak with a Polish accent and is around 5ft10in tall and of slim build.

He is thought to be in his 30s, has short hair with a mole on the left hand side of his face and a stud earring in his right ear.

He is thought to have been wearing a gold bracelet, a dark blue baseball cap, jogging bottoms with white trainers and a black hooded jumper with a green and cream emblem on the chest.

The two men were seen in the vicinity of Leegomery Pool off Leegate Avenue and then around the Spar Shop at Leegomery Centre late on May 8.

Detective Inspector Robert Mountford, who is leading the investigation, said: "We hope that the release of these sketches will result in the positive identification of these men, who are suspected of the rape of a 30-year-old woman in Telford.

"We are appealing in particular to the local Polish community, and to those employers in the area that have a significant Polish workforce also.

"This offence is undoubtedly concerning for the local community and I would like to reassure residents that attacks of this type are rare."
