David Naylor was charged last November with two counts of manslaughter by gross negligence over the deaths of Trevor Grills, the singer of Fisherman's Friends, and the group's tour manager Paul McMullen.

The pair were killed by a falling metal door while preparing for a gig at G Live in Guildford on February 9, 2013.

Naylor, 57, of Stourbridge Road in Bridgnorth, appeared at Guildford Crown Court yesterday where he entered not guilty pleas in relation to both charges.

Mr Naylor is next due to appear for trial on October 4. He has been released on unconditional bail.
