Jason Maddock-Jones, 23, of Highfields, Chirk, admitted conspiring with his five other co-accused to supply the class A drug between February and September of this year.

Maddock-Jones appeared at Mold Crown Court yesterday along with Simon Neal Roberts, 39, of Dolydd Lane, Cefn Mawr; Wayne David McKenzie, 38, of Parkside Road, Manchester; 54-year-old David Keith Taylor, of Pentre Gwyn, Wrexham; David Arfon Jones, 29, of East Avenue in Ruabon and Phillip Burke, 43, of Dursley, Whiston. Roberts also admitted a money laundering charge. McKenzie pleaded not guilty to a money laundering charge.

Judge Niclas Parry adjourned the case for a further plea and case management hearing in respect of McKenzie.

The cases of the others will be mentioned at that stage.

The judge said that it was a very serious matter but said that maximum credit would be given in sentencing for the guilty pleas.
