Terri Rose Wall, 39, of St Mary's Close, Shawbirch, admitted driving with 92 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

She was given a 12 month community order with supervision and ordered to complete the drink-impaired driver rehabilitation programme.

She was also banned from driving for 22 months, although district judge Mr Nigel Cadbury said she could reduced this by a quarter by completing a separate driver training programme.

She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Wall told police she was going through an acrimonious divorce and an interview with a solicitor had not gone well.
