Two held over Bomere Heath cigarettes haul

Two men were arrested on suspicion of stealing almost £2,000 worth of cigarettes just 10 minutes after shop staff called the police.

Officers were called to The Co-Operative in Bomere Heath, near Shrewsbury, on Wednesday.

The pair, 33 and 26, were pulled up on the M54.
