A 19-year-old woman has told a jury how she and another teenage girl were taken by two Telford brothers to have sex with workers at a local restaurant.

The teenager alleged at Stafford Crown Court yesterday that they were driven to the restaurant in Wellington three years ago by Mubarek Ali – known as Max – and Ahdel Ali – known as Eddie.

She claimed that Max had been given £150 by three men at the restaurant.

When the two girls got back to car the witness claimed the defendants, both of Regent Street, Wellington, were drinking and smoking cannabis.

"They were just laughing. They thought it was funny because we had to do it and they got money for it," she said.

The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is the second alleged victim in the trial of the brothers.

The witness, giving evidence behind a screen, said yesterday it was after the restaurant was closed and there were three men in rooms upstairs.

"Two of the men took my friend into a bedroom," she said.

The young woman said she found her friend having sex with one of the men.

She said that the third man wanted to have sex with her and she said no, but performed a sex act on him.

"I felt I had to do it. I didn't want to do it," she said.

Mubarek Ali, 29, denies four charges of controlling child prostitution, two of trafficking for sexual exploitation and a charge of causing child prostitution.

His brother, Ahdel Ali, 24, denies an allegation of rape, 11 allegations of sexual activity with a child, three charges of controlling child prostitution, two of inciting child prostitution, an allegation of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and meeting a child after grooming.

The trial continues.
