Spike was last seen on April 20 at his home in Shawbirch, Telford.

He is a short-haired brown tabby and is active and healthy at 16.

Owner, Claire Breeze said: "It's completely out of character as he only ever goes outside for a maximum of half an hour and is always in the vicinity of home and comes back in when called.

"We have put posters up all round Shawbirch and posted lots of flyers through doors. Last year, in October, he was shot with an air rifle.

"Our main worry is that he has been shot again and wonder if anyone else in the Hopkins Heath or Glade Way area of Shawbirch has had their pet shot. I would be very grateful for any help in locating Spike."
