Drugs, illegal cigarettes and tobacco seized in Telford raids
Class B drugs, and a large amount of illegal cigarettes and tobacco were seized by police and trading standards in Telford.
West Mercia Police and Telford & Wrekin Council Trading Standards searched two properties in Dawley yesterday morning.
A number of items were seized by police and trading standards folloowing the searches at around 9.30am.
Further to these warrants a large amount of illegal cigarettes and tobacco was seized by trading standards.
A 20-year-old man, a 23-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, all from Telford, have been arrested on suspicion of intent to supply class B drugs.
Sergeant Fiona Locke said: "Officers executed two warrants within the Dawley as part of our ongoing efforts to prevent the supply of drugs within the area.
"I continue to urge the people of Dawley to report any suspected supply of drugs to police so that we can take steps to tackle any such activities and protect the local community from the impact they have. You can do this by calling the non emergency number, 101."
