Man injured as cars collide at Tong

A man had to be taken to hospital after a three vehicle crash at Tong.

One of the vehicles had rolled over on the A41 near the junction for the M54.

Claire Brown, spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said was one ambulance and one first responder on the scene, and they were alerted to the crash at 1.20pm.

A 37-year-old man was taken to Princess Royal Hospital in Telford after he managing to get out of the car himself.

The road was partially blocked between M54 and Offoxey Road, and police and fire service were also in attendance.
