There will be a wide variety of jobs on offer, including temporary, permanent, full-time and part-time.

On Friday and Saturday 20 providers of care services will be outside Debenhams in Sherwood Square. They will be available to talk to jobseekers about their business, discuss the vacancies and careers they have to offer and maybe even conduct an informal interview.

They will be joined by Telford & Wrekin Council's Job Box team to help with CVs, application forms, interviews, or other aspects of support needed when looking for a new job or career.

The fair will take place between 9am and 6pm on both days. A week later, on September 16 and 17 the Job Box team will stage the Retail Jobs Fair.

Over the summer, they worked closely with the Enterprise Telford Team based at the Marches Growth Hub Telford, talking to all the town centre's retailers and businesses and scouring the internet for vacancies.

They will have all those job offers on display. The Job Box team will be outside Primark in Dean Square between 9am and 6pm on both days.

Councillor Gilly Reynolds, Cabinet Member for Education, Employment & Regeneration said: "This is an important part of our work in supporting local businesses and tackling unemployment.

"Our teams have done all the hard work in sourcing job and career opportunities and it will all be laid out during these two fairs – all you have to do is apply. "And if you need help in applying, the Job Box Team will be on hand to assist with completing your CV and application forms or even let you practice a 'dry-run' interview."
