Motorcyclist breaks leg in Telford crash

A motorcyclist has broken their leg after an accident in a village outside Telford.

The accident, involving just the motorcyclist, in his 20s, happened in Cluddley, on the outskirts of Wellington just after 9pm last night.

Fire crews from Wellington station were called to the scene and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital by West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Clare Brown, a spokeswoman for the ambulance service, said: "Upon arrival crews found a motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, who had come of his bike and had ended up down a 7ft embankment. "The man was fully conscious and breathing but crews suspected he had suffered a fractured leg. "Once stabilised he was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital."
