Letter: Obama should look at our history before he preaches

So David gets another politician to back his master plan. How dare Obama treat this great country like he has.

There will be no free trade deal with us if we leave, have you ever, ever heard such a demeaning statement from a president of the USA?

Perhaps Obama should go back to school and read history past and present.

Great Britain ruled the world in many things in the 18th and 19th centuries, and to speak to us like that should only make the true Britain vote no.

Perhaps Obama should look at the relationship we have had with the USA. We are at present the most go-ahead economy in the flawed union.

Perhaps he will take a few thousand refugees when this country sinks under the weight of mass immigration, but I doubt it.

Perhaps he has forgotten who gave him the jet engine that brought him over to spout his unwanted opinions, or the postage stamp he can stick onto his letters he sends out to the EU.

Also our involvement in helping the world get the television, telephone, and the atom.

Perhaps he will get Ford out of the UK and get another company to supply Apple with world beating chips instead of the ones from Cambridge in the UK.

But I doubt it. So it's a political clap trap to frighten you, so don't fall into the trap, this is your one and only chance, there will never be another. I and many others have written many reasons for the exit of this totally corrupt union.

This will be my last letter on the Brexit subject, because if I have not convinced the correct way to vote to get our country back from dictators who don't care about our well being then I can do no more.

Finally for those who do vote to stay in then you will only have yourselves to blame when it all goes to pieces especially when you all welcome the tens of millions of the Turks into Europe and of course the UK, good luck to you all you will need it.
