Man and teenager threatened with weapon in Telford robbery

A man and teenager were threatened with a weapon and forced to hand over money during a robbery in Telford.

It happened as they returned to their car outside the Kebab Ye takeaway, in Church Street, Wellington.

The 20-year-old man and 17-year-old teenage boy had been walking in the street when they were approached by two unknown men between 10pm and 10.30pm on Wednesday.

One of the men demanded the victim's keys, and when the victims refused they were then threatened with a weapon, and a demand for money was made.

The victims handed over money and the offenders walked away towards the direction of Vineyard Road.

The first robber is described as white, in his early 20s and about 5ft 9in tall. He has short dark hair, was clean shaven, with spots and two moles on his face. He was wearing a grey hooded top.

The second man was white, around the age of 18 and about 5ft 10in tall. He had short ginger hair and spots on his chin. He was wearing a dark blue Adidas tracksuit with three silver stripes running down the arms and down the side of the trousers.

Nobody was injured during the incident.
