Russell Blent: Family issue appeal for Shrewsbury man missing for five weeks

The family of Russell Blent have appealed for information on the whereabouts of missing Shrewsbury man Russell Blent who has not been seen for five weeks.

Russell's family have said : "We all miss him and just want him home."

Russell, 35, was last seen in the early hours of March 17 at an address on Moneybrook Way, Meole Brace.

He is described as white, around 6' 1", of a heavy build with short dark hair.

He was last seen wearing blue jogging bottoms, a grey jacket and blue and white trainers.

Russell is also known to use the nickname of 'Gudge'. He has the initials THFC -Tottenham Hotspur Football Club - tattooed on the knuckles of his left hand.

Det. Insp Mark Jones, the senior investigating officer said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Russell's welfare as time goes on. Extensive searches have been conducted throughout the area, but as yet no lines of enquiry have led to him being found. He may be sheltering in garden outbuildings and we are asking residents to check garages and garden sheds for any signs that a person may have been sleeping there.

"If anyone has information to help police locate Mr Blent they can call 101. Alternatively contact the Missing People charity on 116 000."
