Pictures and video: Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after Shropshire crash

A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a "serious" collision  between Bridgnorth and Ludlow.

The collision happened on the B4364 yesterday afternoon at about 3.50pm which involved a Vauxhall Zafira and a Suzuki motorcycle.

The Zafira was being driven towards Ludlow and the motorcycle was travelling in the direction of Bridgnorth.

The motorcyclist, a man in his thirties, sustained arm injuries and was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. The occupants of the Zafira were not injured.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have any information. Please call police on 101, quoting incident 440s of April 10, 2016.
