More overnight closures for M54
Motorists face more disruption on the M54 with several overnight closures this week.
The road will be closed between junctions two and three, from 11.30pm and 6am, from today until Friday.
Overnight work to renew filter drains will see the motorway closed in both directions, including the slip roads.
The westbound carriageway between junctions three and four will close tonight from 9pm until tomorrow morning for resurfacing work.
The junction four exit slip road will be closed overnight from 7pm on Wednesday until 6am the following morning.
Highways England, which has announced details of the work, said the planned work could be subject to change due to weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances.
Diversions will be put in place.
The motorway had only just fully reopened after closing for numerous roadworks during the Easter holidays.
Work to renew filter drains between junction three at Cosford and junction two at Wolverhampton took place from March 29 but were suspended for the bank holiday.
