Man suffers head injuries in late-night Ironbridge street attack

A man was left with a head injury after he was attacked outside a hotel in Ironbridge.

The attack happened after the 27-year-old victim left the Valley Hotel on Buildwas Road.

He was walking towards The Wharfage and at some point was assaulted by an unknown man.

He went to the Princess Royal Hospital where he was treated for injuries to his face and head.

The attack happened between 11.15pm and 11.45pm on Friday, March 25.

There is currently no description of the offender.

Anyone with any information about the assault, or who may have witnessed it, should call police on 101 quoting incident number 801 of March 25.
