Lucy Smith's widower Jason Guy has joined forces with two Shropshire women to hold the event at Shifnal's Park House Hotel, to raise money for Breast Cancer Now.

The 38-year-old from Cannock has already raised nearly £100,000 for the charity in the past three years.

His wife Lucy was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in May 2013 and was told it was terminal in September 2014. The pair married in February 2015 and she died in June.

Since then he has organised bike rides, golf days and a whole host of events to help raise money for the Breast Cancer Now charity.

He was contacted on the social network LinkedIn by Natasha Edwards, with the idea for the event, which the pair are now organising with help from Michelle Ebrey, who is the regional coordinator for the Look Good Feel Better charity.

Mr Guy said: "Natasha has been fantastic in organising it."

The event will be held on April 1 from 7pm until late, with a glass of bubbly on arrival, a Clubbercise demonstration, live beauty demonstration, topless waiters, heads and tails and raffle and disco karaoke.

Tickets cost £10, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Now.
