Teenager in crown court appearance on Oswestry murder conspiracy charge

A teenager charged with conspiracy to murder, in connection with a stabbing in Oswestry, has appeared in court again.

Telmo Bernardo, 18, from Wrexham, appeared by video link at Stafford Crown Court yesterday. No pleas were taken and Bernardo was remanded in custody until March 4.

He is charged in connection with an incident in Castlefields, Oswestry, on January 23 where a man sustained serious stab wounds.

Another man, 22-year-old Luke Cross, of Mount View in Sutton Coldfield, has previously appeared in court in connection with the stabbing.

He has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder, making one count of threats to kill and one count of threating to cause criminal damage.
