A service to mark the life of 23-year-old Charlotte Grace Foster, of Newport, will be held at Market Drayton Methodist Church at 12.30pm on Wednesday, February 10.

Miss Foster died last week at Princess Royal Hospital Telford.

An inquest opening earlier this week heard that doctors believed Miss Foster had suffered a blood clot on the lung as a result of taking the contraceptive pill.

Miss Foster was described by her family as an "intelligent, beautiful, and caring young lady".

The funeral service will be followed by a private family cremation.

Any donations made by mourners in Miss Foster's memory will be split between the intensive care unit at Princess Royal Hospital and Crohn's and Colitis UK.

A full inquest into Miss Foster's death will take place at Shirehall, Shrewsbury, on April 26.
