Another Co-op Bank to close as Whitchurch branch axed
The Co-operative Bank will close its Whitchurch branch, situated in High Street, on April 25.

It comes just days after the Whitchurch branch of HSBC closed – and shortly after The Co-operative announced plans to close its branch in Oswestry.
Peggy Mullock, Shropshire councillor representing Whitchurch, said: "It is sad news that another bank will be withdrawing from the town and the loss of jobs."
Liam Coleman, of The Co-operative Bank, said: "Alongside online and mobile banking facilities, all closing branches are within three miles of a Post Office branch where customers can undertake most day-to-day transactions."
