The Silverton, at Frankwell, and its owners David Cheshire and Donna Miles, take on three other bed and breakfast owners over four days on 'Four in a Bed'.

The show, screened at 5pm from Monday to Friday, sees owners of hotels stay in each other's establishments and pay what they think the service was worth.

The winner is the B&B considered the best value for money.

Although it has already been filmed the winner is not yet known.

The Silverton will be shown on Thursday, with Mr Cheshire and Mrs Miles enjoying their rivals' hospitality on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

The Shrewsbury hotel will be screening the show each evening while it serves food and assistant manager Gemma Hindmarch said they were eager to see how the hotel had fared.

She said: "I have been told there will be a massive surprise on Thursday and we do not know what it is so we will be watching to find out just like everyone else."

Ms Hindmarch praised the hotel's owners saying: "They here all the time. They run the front of house, they are in the kitchen, they do everything themselves. They work so hard to make it a success, they are brilliant."
