One person injured in Telford petrol can fire

One person needed treatment for burns after a fire in Telford involving a petrol can and rubbish.

Fire crews were called to Trench Road, Trench at 6.25pm yesterday.

One fire engine from Telford Central attended the scene.

A spokesman for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire involved a petrol can, rubbish and a garden gate. One adult was treated for burns to their hand by the ambulance service."

The fire was out by 6.43pm.
