Luke Morris, 32, of Rhodes Avenue, Dawley, who denies a charge of rape, has been on trial at Shrewsbury Crown Court since Monday.

Morris is accused of raping the woman at his home on July 26 last year after a night out.

Judge Jonathan Gosling adjourned the case after hearing the closing arguments from the prosecution and the defence.

He will deliver his summing up on Tuesday before sending the jury out to consider its verdict.
