Spilled toolbox causes rush hour delays on A5 in Shropshire

A toolbox containing screws and nails caused rush hour disruption on the A5 in Shropshire today after it spilled across the road.

The incident happened at about 5pm at the Gledrid roundabout, near Oswestry.

It caused delays between the Mile End roundabout and Gledrid until the toolbox was cleared by police by about 5.30pm.

Police say they were originally informed a lorry had shed its load before they discovered the tool box, screws and nails.
