David Ian Pearson, 31, of Station Road, Pontesbury, denied three charges in an appearance at Shrewsbury Crown Court.

Pearson is accused of conspiracy to cause damage to property by fire between June 29 and September 3 last year with Kingsley Tolley.

He is also accused of arson on August 30 last year, where damage was caused to a Peugeot Panther, a Ford Mondeo, and a window, at Tafolwern, Llanbrynmair, and arson on September 2 last year, at Station Road in Pontesbury, causing damage to a BMW 118.

Both the arson charges are listed as being jointly carried out with Tolley, who died earlier this year.

The trial is listed to begin on November 10 at Shrewsbury Crown Court.
