More than 250 classic and vintage vehicles were displayed for Severn Hospice's Classic Vehicle Rally yesterday at Attingham Park.

Spectators also enjoyed a parade of Ford Model Ts, which had all stopped off at the National Trust property around lunchtime as part of their tour of the county.

Event organiser David Sear said visitors saw a variety of vintage vehicles on display, as well as a parade.

"It's quite a sight to see so many classic and vintage vehicles on display in such a grand setting," he said.

"The Model T Ford is one of the most iconic automobiles of the 20th century and we were absolutely thrilled members of Model T Register of Great Britain joined us at Attingham Park.

"Some of the vehicles taking part in the parade were nearly 100 years old, so it really was a fantastic and very rare opportunity to see so many Model T Fords in one place.

As well as the show at Attingham Park, hundreds of people also descended on Chetwynd Deer Park in Newport for the 36th Tern Valley Vintage Machinery rally.

There were over 600 exhibits on display over the weekend, as well as craft and trade stands, arena displays, and tractor pulling.

People of all ages enjoyed the two-day event, and children were kept entertained with bouncy castles, quad bikes and face painting. The rally was organised by the Tern Valley Vintage Machinery Trust.
