The club are to launch a new fan club for next season, to be known as Tigers Untamed.

Members can get discounted entry to selected games, as well as vouchers and away travel offers. There will also be club merchandise and special sale events.

The new club will feature some of the previous committee with Rita Mackriel, Nikkie Morris, Chris Kelsall, Lisa Roberts and Sue Roberts all at the helm.

Mrs Mackriel, who was instrumental in helping to set up the Tigers Supporters Trust in 2008, said: "Making this change took a lot of thought and soul searching.

"But, as a group of fans, we have to look to the future and believe it's time to move forward.

"The last year or so has seen some massive changes, following the arrival of Red Hockey, and I am really looking forward to making it something that every fan can be proud of.

"I want to see every Tigers fan get behind Tigers Untamed and make it a success. Previously, we have struggled for support when organising coach travel and other events.

"This is a chance to really change things for the better."

Fans will be able to subscribe for free and receive a range of discounts, as well as exclusive merchandise. Paul Baker, Director of Red Hockey, is looking forward to working with the new fan club.

He said: "We have always said this club is all about the fan experience. We believe that with this new fan club, everyone who joins and supports the team will play an integral part in moving us forward.

"Of course, we can't forget the incredible work done by the original Telford Tigers Supporters Club.

"The members saved this club and built it up. It was a big decision for everyone involved to create this new organisation. I can't thank the committee members enough for their help."

Those fans who either renewed their membership or joined the previous Supporters Club from May 1 will receive a full refund and a complimentary drinks voucher.
