Motorists faced disruption after traffic lights at a major roundabout in Shrewsbury busy roundabout got stuck on red.

The lights on Emstrey Island with the junction with London Road in Shrewsbury failed at just after 9am and caused chaos for drivers.
The roundabout on the A5 underwent a multimillion pound facelift and reopened earlier this year.
