Man bailed after fight by side of M54 in Shropshire

A man arrested after a fight on the side of the M54 in Shropshire has been bailed, police have said.

The 31-year-old man from Sheffield was arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of GBH with intent and has been bailed until August 10.

One man was taken to hospital after the fight along the side of the motorway which caused rush hour delays for drivers on the M54 in Shropshire.

Police were called to Junction 3 at Albrighton at 6.50am yesterday morning after reports of two men fighting along the carriageway between Junctions 2 and 3.

The victim had injuries to his face and shoulder and was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.

His injuries are thought not to be serious.
