Motorist delays after two cars and van crash on Shropshire trunk road

Traffic was held up on a major county trunk road following a three-vehicle crash.

Published
The collision, between a Ford transit van and two cars, a Skoda and a Mazda, happened at the A49 at Dorrington, between Shrewsbury and Church Stretton, at about 4pm.
Traffic moved slowly as the three vehicles partially blocked the road at the junction with Station Road, but the route was not closed.
John Hawker, speaking for West Mercia Ambulance, said one ambulance was called.
He said a 65-year-old woman and a five-year-old child were treated for minor injuries but discharged at the scene.
