The Oswestry Border Vintage Vehicle Show at the town's showground, saw visitors of all ages cast their eyes over steam engines, vintage commercial vehicles, fire engines, buses, camper vans and stationary engines.

The event, laid on by the Clwyd Veteran and Vintage Machinery Society Ltd, included a model hall, craft hall, trade and auto jumble stands on Saturday and Sunday.

Club member Del Fidler said: "We've had good crowds each day. There was a little rain on Saturday but everyone enjoyed themselves.

Further attractions included historical re-enactment group, The House of the Black Star, who set up a medieval village on the showground.

Mr Fidler added:

"There was a display of about 80 wonderful tractors and then there were motorbikes and hundreds of classic cars. It was impossible to say which section was the best."
