Stephen Richard Morris played a leading role in a conspiracy to supply drugs, while his co-accused David Minor allowed the storage of drugs at his address and engaged in lower end distribution.

Both have received prison sentences.

It comes after the pair were arrested last November following the discovery of cocaine and drug cutting substances adulterants with a street value of up to £50,000.

Morris, 53, of Harley Close, in Dothill, was sentenced to six years and four months in prison.

Minor, 48, of The Nabb, in Oakengates, was sentenced to three years in jail.

Both men had been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and were sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday.

Detective Inspector Gavin Kinrade of West Mercia Police's Serious and Organised Crime Unit North, who led the investigation said: "As this successful conviction shows, we will continue to tackle drug offences, and bring offenders to justice before the courts.

"We would urge anyone with information about drug activity in our communities, to contact police."

Anyone with information should call 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
