$39,000 iPhone fraud case denied by Telford retailer

A Telford man has denied being involved in a fraud scheme to make nearly 40,000 dollars from Apple iPhones.

Daud Lala Khel, 25, of Crescent Road in Hadley, pleaded not guilty to one charge of fraud by false representation when he appeared at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday.

The court was told that Khel was the owner of an independent retailer in Wellington called Cash 4 ur Fone.

Magistrates declined jurisdiction and the trial will take place at Shrewsbury Crown Court on June 15.

Khel was released on unconditional bail.
