Man, 82, dies two days after crash

An 82-year-old man has died two days after being involved in a crash on the Powys border.

Dyfed-Powys Police said the man was a passenger in a car which crashed on the B4355, near Knighton, on March 25.

He was taken to hospital and was later discharged, but returned two days later and died.

Force spokeswoman Katy Simmons said: "At approximately 11.20am on March 25 an Isuzu Trooper and a Ford Fiesta were involved in a collision near temporary traffic lights.

"The 82-year-old male passenger of the Ford Fiesta was conveyed to Hereford Hospital with back pains to be later released to go home.

"The following day he was re-admitted to Hereford Hospital. He sadly died on March 27.

"HM Coroner has been informed.

"The drivers of both vehicles were not injured."
